Weight loss. I post about it all the time. But it’s the same old story – Failed diets and exercise routines have left me pretty frustrated. 8 months after giving birth to my twin girls, I’m not where I expected myself to be. It was pretty easy for me to bounce back after having one baby, my son, three years ago. But after this twin pregnancy, things were much different. I hadn’t even gained that much more weight with twins, but my post-partum experience was totally different. I couldn’t seem to budge the weight! I was tired, stressed and completely lost having been thrust into life with three kids vs. one – not to mention a bit older. It wasn’t as easy to take three out for a walk and the hectic lifestyle led to poor diet and exercise habits. All the while, I’ve known that I have needed a change, but not quite sure where to turn.
A few months ago, I applied to the Shaklee 180™ Blogger Program, thinking it could be the change and focus I needed. The great news is that I was chosen along with some pretty other amazing bloggers – out of 460 applicants.
The program is 6 month program in where I will lose the weight I don’t want and then learn to keep it off, all while chronicling my experiences through posts, videos and social media – and even pictures (yikes!). I’m really excited to start on March 1st and I know that the mutual support from my fellow bloggers in the program will be a terrific motivation.
People following the weight-loss portion of the Shaklee 180 Program can expect to lose 1-2 pounds per week – so I see my goal of 20 pounds as totally ‘do-able’ over the next three months.
